Bold, earthy, and unmistakably Indonesian — our Sumatra single origin is a coffee of deep character. Sourced from the Aceh region's Takengon highlands through the Koperasi Baitul Qiradh Baburrayyan cooperative, it's processed using the traditional Giling Basah (wet-hulling) method that gives Sumatran coffee its signature syrupy body and long, lingering finish.
Tasting Notes: Dark chocolate, dried fruit, earthy, syrupy body, medium acidity, long lingering finish
- Region: Aceh, Takengon, Sumatra, Indonesia
- Altitude: 1,100–1,600 M
- Process: Giling Basah (wet-hulling)
- Varietals: Tim Tim, Typica, Ateng, Onan Ganjang, Jember
Exceptional as a French press or espresso. The wet-hulled process creates a uniquely heavy body that stands up beautifully to milk and cream.
