How We Flavor Our Coffee
Flavored coffee is made by applying flavor oils to freshly roasted beans while they're still warm. The oils bond to the surface of the bean and infuse into the coffee during brewing. The quality of the result depends on two things: the quality of the base coffee and the quality of the flavoring.
We start with well-sourced, properly roasted coffee — not the bottom-of-the-barrel beans that most flavored coffee producers use. And we use flavoring that's designed to enhance the coffee's natural character, not mask it. The result is a cup where you taste coffee first and flavor second — the way it should be.

How to Brew Flavored Coffee
Flavored coffee works in any brewing method, but a few tips help get the most out of it:
- Drip coffee — the most common and reliable method. The consistent extraction brings out the flavor evenly.
- French press — the immersion brewing amplifies the flavor oils, producing a richer, more intense cup.
- With milk or cream — dairy softens the coffee's bitterness and lets the flavoring shine. Flavored coffees are particularly good as lattes.
- Iced — brew double-strength over ice for a refreshing flavored iced coffee. Caramel and Mocha are especially good this way.
